occupied interests amusingly diminished within this resonant vortex
floating labyrinth of more-or-less inhabitants
dithered down to a low bit sound, pronounced, and irritably profound
shaped and exposed in a way that you know it won't grow

a grey dawn, color is gone
don't make a spectacle outta yourself
shelf "me" ambitions
shovel fuel in the furnace and listen
don't speak up
the device stays running-on-even, long after you're gone
withdrawn and mistaken, eject mass in a vicious tailspin til' you're vacant within

I see the white horse and the crown
and I just wanna pull you down
you've got your substance and hopes
I should swallow and piss them out
into halls of bright unfiltered light that accent the defects
before I strip the chords bare, rearrange and reconnect

and then you realize just how distant and self interested you've been

the codex just up and unwinds
